These Terms and Conditions (see Section 1.1 below for how “Terms and Conditions” is defined) apply to You whenever You use any of the websites or apps offered by, register for an account with, and/or use any of the products or services offered by Willbet.io or its associated websites under the same licence. The products and services that we offer (via our websites, tablet and mobile applications) are together referred to in these Terms and Conditions as the “Services” and references to “You” and “Your” are to You, as the end user of the Services. For more information about who “we” are, see Section 2 below.

Important Note: Everything contained within these Terms and Conditions is important and should be read by You, but we would like to draw Your attention in particular to the following sections. These sections have the potential to seriously affect Your interests. You must read these notes in conjunction with respective detailed sections and not rely on the short summaries below:

  • By registering for an Account, You are entering into a legally binding agreement: To use our Services, You must register and open an account with us. You will enter into a legally binding agreement with us which incorporates the General Terms and Conditions, the rules for each of the products and services that we offer, and any applicable third party terms and conditions in respect of the use of their software. (See Section 1)

  • You may only open 1 (one) Account: You may only register 1 (one) account with us. If we discover that You have opened more than one Account, we will have certain rights including the right to close Your Account(s), to void winnings, to cancel all the bonus and associated winnings you have received from us and to retain the positive balance on Your duplicate Account(s). (See Section 4)

  • You must be 18 (eighteen) and meet other requirements to use our Services: You must be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and meet the other eligibility and verification criteria to use our Services. (See Sections 4, 6 and 7)

  • Information we collect about You: We collect and may use Your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Notice. (See Section 5)

  • We need to complete verification checks before You can do certain things: We will need to complete our verification checks before allowing You to do certain things in connection with Your Account, including withdrawing any amount of your balance and winnings from Your Account. (See Section 7)

  • Maximum winnings limits apply to our Services: This means that, regardless of the amount You stake and no matter how much You appear to have ‘won’, You will only be entitled to receive up to the maximum winnings limit. The limits are:

    • Any sports betting transactions placed through the Services other than as may be set out in relation to specific markets, for any one calendar day (UTC 00:00 – 23:59) the maximum aggregate winnings shall be no greater than US$500,000 (five hundred thousand US dollar) or the equivalent amount in Your chosen currency.

    • Other than progressive jackpot slot, table or instant win games, or where specifically advertised for a specific game or promotion, the maximum winnings for any one wager or gameplay transaction shall be no greater than US$250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand US dollar) or the equivalent amount in Your chosen currency.(See Section 10)

  • Withdrawing Your funds: You will usually be able to withdraw Your available real money balance at any time, but there are certain circumstances in which we will be entitled to delay or withhold withdrawals. (See Section 12)

  • We have zero tolerance towards fraudulent activities, cheating, or any other “Prohibited Activities”: Engaging in such behaviour will grant us the right to take necessary measures, such as suspending or closing Your Account, cancelling/voiding Your bets, and/or withholding winnings. You may also be required to compensate us if we suffer losses because of Your actions (See Sections 16, 17 and 18)

  • Errors, Interruptions, and Malfunctions: Although our gambling software undergoes rigorous testing, no computer system is perfect. Errors in odds and pricing may occur within betting markets. Should one of our products experience a software error or present incorrect information, such as erroneous terms or winnings. We reserve the right to withhold payouts. This applies even in cases where the issue is not immediately apparent to you and is only identified during our review or verification of the transaction results.. (See Section 11)

  • In certain circumstances, our liability to You is limited or excluded: When You play with us, it is important that You understand what we are liable for, when limits to our liability will apply (and what those limits are), and what we are not liable for. It is also important that You understand we will not be liable to You under these Terms and Conditions, and nor do we owe You a duty of care in respect of, our compliance or non-compliance with any regulatory obligations that we may be under from time to time including those relating to so-called ‘safer gambling’ or ‘social responsibility’.   • Our right of set-off: Sometimes we can set off the positive balance in Your Account against amounts that You owe to us, or use the Account balance to reimburse costs incurred as a result of any Prohibited Activity on Your part. (See Section 22.5)

 

1. General Terms and Conditions and Other Applicable Terms

1.1 By registering an account with Willbet.io, you enter into a legally binding agreement comprising the following components:

  • These general terms and conditions (“General Terms and Conditions”);

  • Specific rules for each of the products and services offered by Willbet.io (“Game Rules”), detailed in Section 1.2;

  • Terms for any promotions we offer (“Promotional Terms”);

  • Third-party terms applicable to their software use, outlined in Section 13.9 and Appendices A and B (“Third Party Terms”).

Together, these documents are referred to as the “Terms and Conditions.”

1.2 It is important to note that these General Terms and Conditions will prevail in the event of any conflict with the Game Rules.

2. About Us

2.1 The Website is operated by BRIDGE TECHNOLOGIES B.V., a company incorporated and registered in Curaçao, at Dr. M.J. Hugenholtzweg 25, Willemstad, Curaçao, company number 160264(0) (hereinafter ‟we” or ‟us”). We hold a remote operating licence from the Curaçao Gaming Control Board (GCB) under licence number OGL/2024/431/0231 (‟Licence”).

3. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

We may amend these Terms and Conditions as necessary—for instance, to comply with changes in law or our regulatory obligations, or to accommodate changes in the services we offer or our business practices. We will notify you of any significant changes by providing a prompt with a link to the revised terms on our websites. Continued use of the Services after such notification will constitute your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cease using the Services. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions regularly.

4. Registering and Opening an Account

4.1 To utilise our Services, you must register and open an account (“Account”). There are no charges for setting up an Account. During registration, you will be required to provide certain personal information, including your name, address, email address, date of birth, and telephone number. It is imperative that the information you provide is accurate and kept current. You can update your information at any time through your Account settings on our website.

4.2 You must meet our eligibility and verification requirements to open an Account. These requirements are detailed in Sections 6 (Eligibility) and 7 (Verification). You must continue to meet these requirements as long as you have an Account with us.

4.3 You are allowed to register only one Account. If you open multiple Accounts, each additional Account will be treated as a “Duplicate Account.” If we discover Duplicate Accounts, we reserve the right to:

  • Close the Duplicate Account(s), leaving you with just the original Account. In cases of deliberate or fraudulent behaviour, we may close all associated Accounts.

  • Void all bonuses, free bets, and winnings derived from such on the Duplicate Account.

  • Retain any remaining balance on the Duplicate Account.

4.4 You must maintain accurate information related to your Account and promptly inform us of any changes that could affect your Account’s use.

4.5 We reserve the right to refuse account registration for any reason, including failure to meet our requirements. If registration fails, we will refund any deposits made by the original payment method, and any placed bets or wagers will be voided.

4.6 Any bets or wagers placed via Your Account must be for Your own benefit and not for the benefit of any third party.

5. Information Collection and Use

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Notice, which are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions. These documents outline how we collect, use, and share your information.

6. Eligibility

6.1 You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Underage gambling is a criminal offence.

6.2 Access to our Services may be illegal for residents of, or persons located in, certain countries. Our Services should not be used by persons in jurisdictions where such activities are illegal. Notably, residents of or persons located in the United States and its territories are prohibited from using our Services.

6.3 If You access any of the Services from a country other than one of the Accepted Countries or from a country other than the one specified as Your country of residence in the customer registration procedure, it is Your responsibility to check that accessing and using the Services are not prohibited and/or restricted by local laws. We accept no liability if your deliberate or accidental use of our Services is in contravention of the laws of the country in which you are located, and we may also void, suspend, and block all of your accounts and/or betting activity or take any other action we deem necessary.

7. Verification

7.1 We reserve the right to request proof of age and address from you, as further described below in this section, and we may suspend or restrict your account until you provide the requested documents.

7.2 By registering for an account, you authorise us to conduct any identification, credit, or other verification checks that we may require (either for our own purposes or as required by applicable law or a regulatory body), including (but not limited to) checking any or all of the details you provide when registering or changing your account details (e.g., when you update the payment method linked to your account). In particular, we may verify that you are 18 (eighteen) years of age or older and that you are resident in the country in which you say you are resident. You agree to provide us with any information we may reasonably need in relation to such checks.

7.3 If we discover (after you have successfully registered and opened an account) that you are under 18 (eighteen) years of age, your stakes will be returned to you, all bets will be voided, and we may make a report to the relevant regulatory or law enforcement authorities.

7.4 We may supply the information that you have given us to authorised credit reference agencies, who may check the details we provide against any databases (public or private) to which they have access and may keep a record of that check. We may share information with credit reference and fraud prevention agencies for use in credit decisions, identification checks, and for fraud detection and prevention purposes.

8. User ID and Password

8.1 Upon registering with Willbet.io, you are provided a unique User ID and Password for your account. Once established, your User ID cannot be changed. However, you may change your Password at any time through the “My Account” section of our website or apps.

8.2 You are strictly prohibited from allowing others to use your account. It is your responsibility to safeguard your User ID and Password. We assume that all activities conducted with your User ID and Password are performed by you and will hold you accountable for these actions. We are not responsible for losses or damages resulting from your failure to secure your account credentials.

8.3 If there are young individuals who have access to your device, we strongly recommend the installation of parental control software to prevent unauthorised access.

8.4 It is advisable to change your Password periodically to enhance security. Should you detect any unauthorised use of your account, notify us immediately.

8.5 Repeated incorrect entries of your Password will trigger an automatic lock on your account for security reasons. If you forget your User ID or Password, you can retrieve or reset them using the tools provided on our website or app, or by contacting our Customer Care Team for assistance, after passing necessary security verifications.

8.6 Should you suspect that your User ID or Password has been compromised, it is imperative to contact our Customer Care Team immediately for us to take appropriate measures to secure your account.

9. Deposits

9.1 Deposits can be made by accessing the “Deposit” link on any of our platforms or by contacting our Customer Care Team.

9.2 Deposits can be made through recognized online payment services like AstroPay, Jeton etc. The authorization of your bank or payment provider is necessary for these transactions, and we disclaim liability for any unauthorised or failed deposits.

9.3 The name on your payment method must match the name registered on your Willbet.io account. We assume the funds used for deposits are your own, and disclaim liability for discrepancies.

9.4 Should you need to change your registered payment method, you can do so via the facilities on our website or apps, or by contacting our Customer Care Team.

9.5 If your registered payment method becomes invalid, contact our Customer Care Team. We may require additional verification or documentation before updating your payment details.

9.6 All deposits must be made in one of the supported currencies, and are subject to minimum and maximum limits, which may be adjusted at our discretion.

9.7 We do not impose charges for making deposits, but your bank may apply transaction fees or other charges.

9.8 Deposits are credited to your account almost immediately upon authorization by your bank or payment service, enabling you to engage in gameplay without delay. But the actual time will depend on your bank or payment service. Willbet.io only provides information for your reference and will not guarantee.

9.9 Deposited funds do not accrue interest and are considered advance payments for intended wagering activities on our platform.

10. Maximum Winnings Limits

10.1 We impose limits on winnings for each account. The maximum winnings for sports betting are limited to US$500,000 (or its equivalent in another currency) per day. For other games, such as non-progressive slots, table games, or instant win games, the maximum is US$250,000 (or its equivalent) per wager or game transaction, unless otherwise specified in promotional terms.

11. Malfunctions, Errors, and Interruptions

11.1 We strive to offer a flawless gaming experience, but acknowledge that malfunctions, errors, and interruptions can occur. In such cases, we reserve the right to void affected wagers or withhold payments resulting from such issues.

11.2 Definitions:

  • Malfunction: A failure in software or hardware operations that leads to unintended gaming outcomes.

  • Error: Incorrect information or mistakes in odds, pricing, or game terms.

  • Interruption: Disruptions in gameplay due to connectivity issues, technical failures, or other unforeseen circumstances.

11.3 If you encounter any of the above issues, cease using the affected service immediately and report the issue to our Customer Care Team.

11.4 We aim to manage interruptions fairly, ensuring minimal disadvantage to our customers. Depending on the nature of the game and timing of the interruption, we may suspend markets, return stakes, or take other actions deemed fair and reasonable under the circumstances.

12. Withdrawals

12.1 Conditions and Processes for Withdrawal

When you wish to withdraw funds from your account, you can do so under the following conditions:

  • Verification of Transactions: All deposits into your account must have been verified and cleared without any associated chargebacks, reversals, or cancellations. We must ensure that all transactions are legitimate and final before allowing withdrawals.

  • Completion of Verification Checks: We must have completed any necessary verification checks to our satisfaction. This includes confirming your identity, address, and compliance with our Terms and Conditions. Should we request additional documentation or information to complete these checks, the processing time for withdrawals may be affected by any delays in providing us with the required information.

  • Absence of Review for Prohibited Activities: Your account must not be under investigation or review for involvement in prohibited activities, such as fraud, money laundering, or other forms of cheating or gaming manipulation. Should such a review be underway or completed, it may result in the suspension of withdrawal privileges, the voiding of transactions, or the closure of the account, depending on the outcome of the investigation.

  • No Ongoing Issues Related to Account Errors, Malfunctions, or Interruptions: There should be no unresolved issues regarding errors, malfunctions, or interruptions that might have affected wager outcomes, winnings, or losses. If your account has credited winnings due to a malfunction or error that we later identify, such amounts may need to be returned, and affected transactions may be voided.

If you meet these conditions, you can initiate a withdrawal through the user interface provided in the “My Account” section of our website or app. The withdrawal will be processed in accordance with our standard practices and within the time frames specified in our withdrawal policy, subject to the constraints mentioned above.

Withdrawal requests are typically processed quickly, but may occasionally be subject to delays if further investigation or additional verification is required to ensure compliance with our regulatory obligations or to prevent fraudulent activity. In all cases, we strive to handle your withdrawals efficiently, while adhering strictly to the security measures and regulatory standards that govern our operations.

12.2 Withdrawal requests must be processed back to the method used for the original deposit, except in cases where the payment method does not support withdrawals. In such instances, an alternative method will be arranged.

12.3 Withdrawals are subject to minimum and maximum limits and may incur fees, depending on the chosen method and transaction volumes. We reserve the right to modify these limits and fee structures as needed.

12.4 Withdrawals must be made using the same payment method originally used for deposits. This ensures a secure and compliant financial process. If you encounter any issues during withdrawal, our Customer Care Team is available to assist you.

12.5 After submitting a withdrawal request and assuming there are no pending issues as described in Section 12.1, you will receive a confirmation message. This will adjust your account balance to either zero or the remaining amount if not all funds were withdrawn.

12.6 Typically, provided there are no issues as outlined in Section 12.1, withdrawal requests are processed within 2 hours during working days. The funds will then undergo a clearance period determined by the payment service, which is normally within 48 hours.

12.7 The minimum withdrawal amount varies by region and currency and may change over time. Customers with balances below the minimum can still request a withdrawal of the full balance, possibly incurring a fee. Note, payment services may have maximum withdrawal limits; exceeding these may require additional documentation and assistance from our support team.

12.8 We reserve the right to adjust minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts based on our reasonable discretion. Changes will be communicated through our website.

12.9 Fees may apply to withdrawals depending on the payment service used. Transfers between customer accounts are not permitted.

12.10 You are responsible for reporting any winnings and losses to your local tax authorities as required by law. It is also your responsibility to pay any taxes or levies due on winnings paid by us.

13. Service Availability and Use

13.1 We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or add products to our services as necessary, usually providing prior notice. However, some changes may need to be implemented immediately without prior notice due to urgent requirements.

13.2 Misusing our services by introducing malware or attempting unauthorized access to our platforms is strictly prohibited. Such actions will be reported to law enforcement authorities, and we will cooperate by disclosing your identity to them.

13.3 Our services must not be used for any activities that could lead to criminal actions or cause harm or distress to others.

13.4 Our services are intended for personal use only. Any use of your account for the benefit of third parties or for commercial purposes without prior written approval from us is strictly forbidden.

13.5 You must not suggest a commercial relationship with us or act as our agent without our explicit approval.

13.6 Information provided on our platforms, including results, statistics, and betting odds, is for your personal use only and must not be commercially exploited. We do not guarantee the accuracy or uninterrupted provision of such information.

13.7 You acknowledge the risk of losing money when using our gambling services and accept responsibility for any financial losses incurred.

13.8 We do not guarantee the availability of all products at all times. Our services are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis, and while we strive for efficiency, we cannot guarantee that our services will be free from errors or interruptions. Refer to Section 11 for more details on handling errors and malfunctions.

13.9 To use certain services, you may need to use software provided by third parties, which may require you to accept additional terms and conditions.

13.10 We receive various content from third parties, including commentaries and news feeds, which are subject to their terms and conditions. We are not liable for any third-party content, and using links to third-party websites from our services does not imply our endorsement of those sites.

13.11 When using our services, particularly for time-sensitive betting like in-play wagering, be aware that your performance may be affected by the speed of your connection and equipment. Additionally, you may experience technical issues related to the software, hardware, or networks used to provide our services.

14. Placing a Bet or Wager

14.1 You can only place bets or wagers up to the amount of cleared funds available in your account. We do not extend credit for betting purposes.

14.2 We accept bets or wagers exclusively online, through our website or via our mobile and tablet applications. We do not accept bets via email, post, fax, or any other method. Bets received through these unauthorised channels will not be valid.

14.3 It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your bet details. Once a bet has been confirmed by us, it cannot be cancelled or altered without our express consent. If you need to modify or cancel a confirmed bet, you must contact our Customer Care Team before the event starts. We will consider your request, but any adjustments are subject to our discretion.

14.4 Bets placed online or through our mobile applications are only considered valid once you receive an on-screen receipt confirming the bet’s acceptance. The specific process for placing bets may vary according to the relevant game rules, but a bet is only official once confirmed by us.

14.5 We reserve the right to impose limits on the maximum amounts that can be wagered on any market or bet, at our discretion.

15. Refusing Your Bet or Wager

15.1 We reserve the right to refuse any bet or part of a bet at our discretion.

15.2 If we receive alerts regarding irregular betting patterns or potential manipulation of events, we may:

  • 15.2.1 Suspend betting on any event or series of events within our markets.

  • 15.2.2 Delay or withhold payment on any event until the integrity of the event has been verified either by the relevant sports federation or through our own investigation.

15.3 In instances where active manipulation of an event is confirmed, we retain the right to suspend any bets associated with the event. This applies to bets placed by individuals suspected of having insider knowledge or any person connected to or involved with the manipulation.

16. Prohibited Activities

16.1 Lawful Use of Services: You are required to use our services, including your account, strictly for lawful gambling activities consistent with our terms and conditions. Engaging in any activity deemed as a “Prohibited Activity” can lead to severe consequences including the voiding of transactions, withholding of winnings, and the potential suspension or closure of your account.

16.2 Definition and Examples of Prohibited Activities:

  • Circumventing Responsible Gambling Policies: Deliberate attempts to bypass our responsible gambling controls.

  • Fraudulent or Illegal Use: Using the services for fraudulent purposes or illegal activities.

  • Excessive Account Logins: Repeatedly exceeding the daily limit for account logins.

  • Arbitrage Betting: Engaging in arbitrage, where bets are placed on all possible outcomes of an event across different sportsbooks to guarantee a profit, regardless of the event outcome.

  • Non-Genuine Play: Depositing or withdrawing funds without actual play, suggesting manipulation or money laundering.

  • Unfair Practices: Using the services in an unfair manner, including cheating, colluding with other players, or exploiting the services.

  • Third-Party Benefits: Using your account for the benefit of third parties or for non-personal, recreational purposes.

  • Misuse of Funds: Depositing funds without the intention to use our service, or if the funds are from criminal or illegal activities.

  • Inconsistent Account Details: The name on your account does not match the name on the payment method used for deposits.

  • Using VPNs: Using VPNs or similar technologies to disguise your geographical location.

  • Chargebacks and Reversals: If your account receives a chargeback or reversal notification.

  • Bonus Misuse: Exploiting or manipulating bonuses or failing to adhere to Bonus Terms.

  • Misleading Information: Providing incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information during registration or afterward.

  • Account Access Violations: Allowing or enabling someone else to use or access your account.

  • Duplicate Accounts: Opening or using multiple accounts deliberately or fraudulently.

  • Currency Misuse: Misusing our currency exchange service for purposes other than placing transactions.

  • Breach of Professional Standards: Engaging in transactions prohibited by employment contracts or professional body rules.

  • Knowledge of Event Outcomes: Placing bets when you know the outcome of the event in advance.

  • Insider Information: Using non-public information to influence bets.

  • Illegal Fund Source: Depositing money derived from criminal or other illegal activities.

  • Data Scraping: Using automated systems or software to extract data or content from our services without authorization.

  • Commercial Exploitation: Making commercial use of any data or content from our services without permission.

  • Service Interference: Interfering with the operation of the services or disrupting the normal flow of gameplay.

  • External Assistance Programs: Using third-party software designed to provide an unfair advantage, including artificial intelligence and bots.

  • Exploiting Software Errors: Taking advantage of faults, loopholes, or errors in our services or third-party software.

17. Fraud and Cheating

17.1 Definition of Fraudulent Activity and Cheating: We have zero tolerance for any form of fraudulent activity or cheating. Activities classified under this include, but are not limited to:

  • Identity fraud.

  • Payment fraud.

  • Money laundering.

  • Third-party funding.

  • Forgery.

  • Use of stolen or fraudulent payment details.

  • Collusion with others.

  • Use of software for an unfair advantage.

  • Chip dumping (intentionally losing to another player).

  • Exploitation of errors, malfunctions, or interruptions.

  • Betting on fixed events.

  • Use of insider information.

17.2 Prohibition on Interference and Manipulation:

  • You are prohibited from interfering with, interrupting, or attempting to manipulate the operations of our services or the normal play of any games. The use of artificial intelligence, automated players (bots), or any player assistance software is strictly forbidden unless it’s provided directly by us.

  • 17.3 Anti-Collusion Measures:

  • Any collusion between you and other customers is strictly prohibited. We utilise sophisticated software to monitor and analyse gameplay, betting patterns, and suspicious activities to detect collusion. We reserve the right to restrict seating and prohibit certain players from playing together at a poker table or in a tournament. Your cooperation in such investigations is mandatory.

17.4 Handling Suspicious Bets and Match-Rigging:

  • If we suspect match-rigging or observe unusual betting sizes or volumes, we reserve the right to withdraw offers, withhold payments, and declare bets on the affected event void. This applies also if there is any suspicion of your involvement in improper activities with other online gambling platforms.

17.5 Prohibition of External Player Assistance Programs (EPA Programs):

  • The use of EPA Programs that provide an “Unfair Advantage” is strictly prohibited. These include any software, systems, or services that provide customer insights or data beyond personal game observations. An Unfair Advantage also encompasses exploiting faults, loopholes, or errors in our or third-party software to our or other customers’ detriment.

17.6 Detection and Prevention of EPA Programs:

  • We actively take measures to detect and prevent the use of prohibited EPA Programs. This includes examining software programs running concurrently with our own on your computer. You agree not to interfere with these detection methods or attempt to bypass them.

17.7 Withdrawal of Features for Security Reasons:

  • We reserve the right to withdraw your ability to cash out bets or use features like Acca Freeze tokens at any time if we suspect fraudulent or cheating activities. We strive to provide prior notice when possible, but may need to act without notice depending on the severity of the situation.

18. Suspension/Closure of Your Account by Us

18.1 Suspicion of Prohibited Activity: If we suspect you have engaged in any Prohibited Activity, we may suspend your account immediately, freezing both your stake and winnings for any relevant bets. During the suspension, you will not be able to access or withdraw your funds, and the account will remain suspended pending investigation, which you are expected to fully cooperate with.

18.2 Outcome of Investigations:

  • Account Reinstatement: If our investigation concludes that no Prohibited Activity occurred, we may lift the suspension.
